Moni Miyashita is a trusted advisor with over 25 years of experience helping CEOs and leadership teams unlock transformative growth, navigate disruptive change, and execute complex M&A strategies. As a founding advisor at Beacon Hill Strategy Group, Moni specializes in identifying high-impact opportunities, crafting actionable growth strategies, and building resilient business models that deliver sustainable competitive advantages.
Moni has been instrumental in guiding organizations through pivotal transformations. At IBM, as Vice President of Corporate Development, she was a key architect of the company’s transformation through M&A. She led strategy to integration on over 100 M&A transactions, driving a threefold increase in earnings per share and doubling the company’s market cap to position IBM as a $200 billion global software and services leader. She also managed the IBM Venture Capital Fund, fostering strategic investments and innovation.
At Valo Health, as EVP and Chief Strategy Officer, Moni played a key role in building and scaling an AI-driven drug discovery company from concept to execution. She led strategy execution, business model innovation, corporate development, and fundraising efforts, helping secure over $520 million in capital.
Moni’s expertise spans industries and business stages. At McKinsey and Innosight, she advised over 100 Fortune 500 CEOs on growth, innovation, and M&A. She helped establish McKinsey’s M&A and Fast-Growing Tech practices, supporting clients through complex deals and IPO readiness. At Innosight, Moni co-led the life sciences practice, helping biotechs and healthcare companies achieve strategic growth and execute M&A.
Today at Beacon Hill Strategy Group, Moni leverages her global expertise, strategic acumen, M&A leadership, and hands-on experience in building an AI company to empower executives. She is passionate about helping leadership teams address complex challenges, create enduring value, and achieve ambitious results in a rapidly evolving business environment.
Winston Larson

Winston Larson is a trusted advisor to CEOs, bringing more than a decade of experience in corporate strategy, M&A, and portfolio management. As a founding advisor at Beacon Hill Strategy Group, he partners with leaders to craft strategic narratives and make high-stakes decisions to unlock valuation and build enduring legacies.
Before becoming an independent advisor, Winston managed corporate strategy and development at Valo Health. He built and communicated corporate strategy, managed annual planning and budgeting, and developed strategies for business models spanning Valo’s therapeutic pipeline, partnerships, and platforms. He oversaw technology acquisitions and integrations, therapeutic in-licensing transactions, and supported more than $500M in fundraising, including Series A–C rounds, a SPAC, and PIPE process. Winston also directed strategy for Valo’s unified AI-enabled R&D platform, aligning scientists, engineers, and executives on a shared roadmap for growth.
Earlier, he managed portfolio strategy and industry partnerships at Mass General Brigham’s Data Science Office, prioritizing investments across a portfolio of AI and software projects, as well as managing key alliances with Nvidia, GE, and Nuance. He began his career at Innosight, advising Fortune 500 companies on disruptive innovation, venture creation, and R&D strategies. Before his professional career, Winston studied at MIT, building a strong technical foundation.
